Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-
Service group accounts in Palau
-
Handle presentations of renewal proposals and open enrollments
-
Prospect new business opportunities and report status on the master prospect list
-
Build effective working relationships with key management in both current and prospective accounts
-
Coordinate NHI benefit coverage, off-island medical referrals and pre-certifications as needed for members
-
Ensure that all necessary reports, agreements and/or bills between NHI and the company are handled in a timely manner
-
Serve as a provider relations direct contact for any issues and timely processing of claims
-
May be assigned to handle financial tasks that may include pretty cash, collections, promissory
notes and office expenses and payments of necessary taxes to the local government -
Process enrollments, change of status and terminations in the system accurately and timely
-
Other job related duties as assigned
Position Requirements
-
High School graduate/equivalent GED
-
Prior work experience in customer service or administrative role preferred
-
Reliable and dependable
-
Must have excellent communication skills in verbal and written form
-
Experience with Microsoft Office (ex: Outlook Express, Microsoft Word/Excel)
-
Experience with operating Xerox machine (ex: Copy, Fax and Scan
-
Basic computer and typing skills
-
Must be punctual at all times and able to work flexible working hours
