Group Administration Department in Life and Health Division

Responsibilities​​

• Receive, sort & scan/file group enrollment, change of status forms, and miscellaneous required documents

• Review & process group enrollment, change of status forms, and miscellaneous required documents

• Follow-up on pending enrollment documents from groups and/or subscribers

• Set-up new groups for data processing and billing

• Request and prepare member cards for batch delivery

• File group documents in the group correspondence folder and enrollment forms in the account folder

• Respond to inquiries from groups regarding enrollment and billing inquiries

• Respond to inquiries from Sales, Accounting, Claims and Customer Service staff

• Verify eligibility for members as needed

• Create HIPAA certificates as needed

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Position Requirements​

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior work experience in office administration and customer service preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, to effectively convey messages

• Experience with Microsoft Office (ex: Outlook Express, Word, Excel)

• Ability to operate office equipment

• Strong organizational skills
